Our best meal in San Diego! It takes some effort to get there, but it was absolutely worth it. The view and food were fantastic! Service was also very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend the octopus! We were surprised to see the place full on a Wednesday night. The noise level was quite high, but we were able to move to a quieter table with a better view.

Wow! What an Amazing Experience. My Beautiful Wife and I had dinner with a couple of friends. First the Food here is Amazing. The Service impeccable. Very attentive and friendly. The Views of the Downtown skyline very beautiful. So weather you are celebrating a special occasion. Like an Anniversary, birthday or just want to have a Vvery Romantic Dinner with your Beautiful Wife, I highly recommend Island Prime.

The Views of the Downtown skyline very beautiful. So weather you are celebrating a special occasion. The experience i had was amazing. My server provided us with great service and the entire island prime team ensured our visit was wonderful. We got a daily special with a side of crab legs, the chicken plate & two sides. The servings were amazing to our surprise so we had plenty we planned to take to go. Unfortunately when we got home we realized some of our food didn’t make it into the bag. The manager on duty really took care of the situation and made us still feel we had a 5 star experience. (sorry I forgot your name I think it was Carlos) I posted about this place on my socials and recommended it to all my friends & family .. we will be back!

A must at least once in your life. Elegance with smooth dark lighting overlooking a beautiful bay with the Coronado bridge in view. Music is upbeat at a good level. Anything you choose is delicious.

By far one of the best birthday dinners I've had. Everything from the buttery fluffy bread service, to the medallion steaks was exceptional. Will be back any time we in SD.

Absolutely amazing place my husband just took me here for my birthday 100/10 recommend! Their service was phenomenal! The manager was the sweetest lady. They are very accommodating and understanding. The food was the best! The waiter even took time out to explain the menu to give us an idea of what we're ordering. The drinks were Amazing my favorite was the endless summer, taste like peach rings! The views were to diiiee for! Parking was easy they even have valet

Excellent steaks rivaled by the harbor views ! My spouse had the 20 Oz bone-in RIBEYE with a brown peppercorn sauce. There was very little fat, maybe an ounce, that my spouse cut off. The steak was flavorful, juicy and cooked to order. I had the trio of FILET mignon. Each 3 Oz piece had a different sauce or topping: mushrooms on the 1st beef medallion, lump crab topping on the middle filet, and my choice of fresh green chimichurri on the 3rd steak. All 3 filet mignon were nestled onto a spoon of mashed potatoes with red wine Demi sauce. We also ordered a side of grilled ASPARAGUS enough for two persons. Dinner also comes with a hot freshly baked POPOVERS. it's a bread that resembles a hollow muffin. Excellent steak house! Excellent water views! Attentive service!

From the moment we walked in the door to the gracious departure including pictures by the xmas tree from the manager 4 hours later, have we ever had an experience like this. We had flown in family for my girlfriends birthday, and the plane was almost an hour late. But the wonderful hostess let us sit down anyway at a table that was in the perfect spot. And even though we expected eight, when two of us didn’t make it , she set it up for six which was very comfortable. Then the martinis, appetizers,(crab/avocado best), and meals,(3 steak medallions with crab) were off the chart! But the best part about the whole thing was the way that Colin the waiter exceeded all expectations with his service.Then he topped off the night with an unbelievable mud pie I’ve never seen that big. Thank you all at Island Prime for making it such a special wonderful night! Definitely my number one place for dinner in San Diego now.
