The food isn’t bad but the portions? SLIM! Everyone at the table was NOT pleased because the food barely covered the plates. The chef also ran out of food on the grill so started giving skimpy proportions. When someone mentioned this an extra bowl of chicken was added to one guests plate but everyone has an issue. Our chef did no tricks- no flaming onion, no heartbeat, no sake shooting, no tossing of the food? Like what is the point? We came for the experience and literally got none. Really ended up packing up the food and going home because it felt like a waste. Server didn’t really care and chef clearly could care less. I would never ever go back to this one. Waste of a cute outfit!

The cutlery on the table was poorly washed, our food was mixed with another table's in the same place; they don't differentiate for people who have allergies like my wife who has shrimp allergies. The price and quality are not worth it in the least. There is also no parking nearby.

Ohhhh.....myyyyy.....goshhhh! This place is such a hidden gem I hate to give away the secret. I cannot believe how crazy delicious everything was here. We sat at the bar because we didn't want to wait an hour for a table. We had a good chat with the sushi chef. She was very sweet and she made me a remarkable Japanese Lasagna sushi roll. I think I was maybe a little too loud in my enjoyment when I took that first bite. She laughed at how much I enjoyed that sushi roll. I also ordered a plate of the filet mingnon and scallops. Again, knocked me out with how flavorful and tender the meal was. Especially with the amazing dipping sauces. Of course we also ordered a bottle of saki. I asked for a recommendation and the waitress brought me one based on the fact I like sweet. It was phenomenal. I cannot wait to return!

It is with regret that I express disappointment regarding my recent experiences at this establishment, where I have been a patron for several years. Historically, this location has provided satisfactory service and quality dining options. However, it appears that the standards of service and food quality have diminished significantly. Throughout my visits, I have consistently enjoyed a positive experience; alas, my latest encounters have not lived up to those expectations. The service provided was lacking, and the culinary offerings seemed inadequate and uninspired. This decline is disheartening, considering the fond memories associated with this venue. I hope that management can take note of these issues and make the necessary adjustments to restore the quality that once made this establishment a favorite among its patrons. It would be a shame to see a place that has contributed so positively to the community experience continue on this downward trend.

It's showing its age. The interior looks like it was decorated in the '80s and has never been updated. The food was a split decision: The intro salad was very overdressed, to the point that I couldn't eat it. However, our table's chef was entertaining, friendly, and did a great job with the entrees. The portions were big. Overall, it was fine. Not sure I'd make a special trip, though.

This used to be my favorite hibachi restaurant. I tried to take my friend there yesterday, Jan. 22nd at 8:30pm (they close at 10pm) and will never go back again. We were the only two on the hibachi side and was sat by the side door. Remember it is 17 degrees outside. We asked could we move to the other side of the table because it was cold and was quickly told NO, again we were the ONLY people there. We thought maybe she didn’t understand us so we politely asked again and explained why to her, after we were denied again we got our coats and proceeded to leave. My friend asked the guy upfront who sat us and he said the same thing. Very horrible customer service and I will NEVER spend my money there again. Interesting that they would rather loose guaranteed money over moving two paying customers. My mom always said “Do not shop where your money is not wanted”. Guess it will be a fun date night to make hibachi at home 🙂.

My favorite spot my son and I been going for years. Very fresh food just as great as all the big names.. best in Alexandria for sure.

Overall it’s okay! Our waiter was borderline rude, and one chef was outstanding while the other didn’t seem to care much. Once we got our food it really just tasted like it came premade out of a grocery store. Also seemed a little pricey for what you get. It’s fun but there are probably better options.
