2520 always has impeccable food. The tuna tostada appetizer is always a favorite. On my most recent visit I was famished so I ordered the East meets West and my hubby got the crab cake. The portions were generous and I only managed to eat half my food! We sat at the bar and noticed Sidney the bartender was slammed. They definitely needed a second bar tender on a busy holiday weekend, but she managed our needs well given her workload. She recommended the Thai sauce for the crab cake and it was an excellent pairing. Also, the sweet potato fries are always the best choice as a side.

Took the family to dinner. 2520 is a "go-to" place for us. We were seated very quickly. I had the ribeye with mashed potatoes. Steak was cooked perfectly, and mashed potatoes were nice and hot. My son had the steak and shrimp with corn. The steak was little small but cooked very well and the shrimp was really good. My daughter had the grilled chicken Cesear salad. The chicken was cooked and seasoned well and was plentiful for a salad. My wife had the chicken risotto. The feta was overbearing, and the chicken was not lean. She said the risotto was very light in flavor. The chicken risotto was underwhelming, but the overall experience was great (as usual). Service was fantastic.

(3.5 stars) Anticipating a visit to Old Nick’s afterward, our group of four sought a dinner option in the Clemmons/Lewisville area. 2520 moved toward the front of the line by virtue of not being a chain though the intriguing menu certainly bolstered its case as well. On food alone, 2520 offers the makings of an excellent meal, but the overall experience is mixed. Though 2520 is spacious, the restaurant was full when we arrived on a Saturday night. No worries: the wait was hardly unbearable. 2520 slots in somewhere between sit-down casual and fine dining, and the atmosphere – low-key classy – reflects that. As a seafood fan, I was pleased to see how many fish and seafood options 2520 had available. The appetizers alone boast calamari, muscles, Thai shrimp, and lobster nachos, and the entrees throw several fish dishes into the mix. For those less aquatically inclined, there are steaks, sandwiches, pastas, risottos, burgers, and salads. The menu is appealingly well-rounded though, oddly enough, cranberries feature in an inordinate number of dishes. Our group started with a fried calamari, my wife opted for the peppery goat burger, and I tried the stuffed flounder. The calamari came not with the classic marinara but rather with roasted red pepper, cranberries (removable upon request), candied pecans, parmesan, and a citrus herb vinaigrette. This version was lighter than others yet still flavorful, and the calamari were cooked well. The flounder was preceded by a generously sized salad (I opted for Caesar) and was very good. It came with a rich scampi cream sauce, to which tomatoes added a bright and tangy note. Asparagus proved to be a welcome complement. The burger, though messy, featured a very tasty pepper jelly. That said, 2520’s pricing and service are both up-and-down. The appetizer ($12) and the burger ($12.50 with a side included) were definitely reasonable though at close to $30, the stuffed flounder was a bit of a reach. Our server was polite, but we ended up waiting for close to a half hour just to get our checks. From what I’ve gathered, “slow” is the default speed rather than the product of heavy volume. Were it not for these issues, I would gladly return to 2520. The food was good, and the menu holds plenty of promise. However, if I do come back, it would have to be on a day when I have time to spare.

Started with the tuna tostada and wow, delicious!! The bread and her butter was great as well. My salad was a little watery, but nothing that really bothered me. Entree was the sirloin steak and spinach. The steak was supposed to be cooked medium, so I was expecting a warm red center. It was medium well to well, and fairly tough. The spinach was good. It's really unfortunate about the steak because all of the other food was great and the atmosphere was nice.

Wonderful service, kid friendly, and good drinks. We had the shrimp for appetizers and I had the fried oysters with slaw and potato cakes. My husband had steak and asparagus which he loved. Sorry I forgot to take photos I started eating once the food arrived 😄 but I can say the dishes looked wonderful and you can tell the Chef took time on the presentation.

I've been here several times before and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere but never left a review. Today I went there with a group of 12 ladies. Seth was our server and he was AMAZING, KNOWLEDGEABLE, WELCOMING, ATTENTIVE and WORKED VERY HARD!!!! He always had a smile on his face. I had the chicken caesar wrap with fruit and it was delicious!!!! Looking forward to coming back with my family!
