Easily THE BEST Arab/Middle Eastern/Mediterranean food I’ve ever had in the U.S.! The pita bread was soft, warm, and fluffy. The dips were flavorful. The meat was tender and delicious. Excellent service and respectful and polite staff. Everything was perfect. We can’t wait to visit again!

We were in the mood for some authentic food from the homeland and were referred to this place by some people who were in the know of good middle eastern restaurants. Their recommendation did not disappoint. We got there around 530 and it was already packed and a small wait for tables. We had a party of 11 and after 10min we were escorted to their additional seating area in the back of the restaurant. Our server did a great job explaining the specials and we ordered the grilled special for 6 people along with a few other appetizers. The food then began coming out quickly and we never had to wait long for anything. The only complaint is that we had to order bottled water instead of regular tap water. We were told their soda is not regular Coca-Cola so the kids passed on it. Just FYI.. there is no bar or alcohol in the restaurant and it is NOT BYOB. Top notch service along with delicious food. We'll be back.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was excellent, and the service was top-notch. I loved seeing the great teamwork among the staff. Our server, Ali, was amazing, and the entire staff kept checking on us with smiles on their faces. We enjoyed the mix grill, falafel platter, lentil soup, and fresh bread—everything was delicious and perfect. The mint lemonade and coffee were both exceptional, with the coffee being strong and pure, just how I like it. For dessert, the pistachio ice cream and baklava were delicious. If I could give more than a 5-star rating, I definitely would!

We recently visited Al Basha and had an amazing experience! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the great ambience and the welcoming atmosphere. The hospitality of the staff was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist. We ordered hummus, chicken with rice, beef gyro, beef with rice, and French fries, and everything was delicious. The hummus was creamy and fresh, perfectly paired with warm pita. The chicken and beef were tender, flavorful, and well-seasoned, while the gyro had the perfect balance of spices. Even the French fries were crispy and well-prepared, making for a great side. The vibes were excellent, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with family and friends. If you’re looking for a place with delicious food, a great atmosphere, and outstanding service, Al Basha is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Beautiful restaurant in South Paterson. Exquisite. The vibe of the restaurant was family oriented. The service is superb and the staff is so warming and welcoming. The food is amazing and at such a wonderful price. They have so many options that I’ll have to return to try them. My first experience will not be my last. Every single thing I had was not a disappointment. My favorite was their mint tea.

A good authentic Mediterranean restaurant near Clifton. Food is tasty and gives justice to the price. Service is decent and fast. Place is stroller friendly and they provide high chairs . We ordered - falafel platter, mint lemonade, chicken kebabs , pistachio ice cream . Everything tasted good . Mint lemonade was little sour for my taste. Overall a decent place.

This place was a classy and modern restaurant serving delicious Middle Eastern cuisine! This place was super busy. We had to wait 2 hours before we got a table! It was so worth it though😋 Once you are at your table, a server comes to you with smoking hot pita bread and pickled veggies. This was probably the freshest I’ve ever had bread in my life! As for appetizers, we got falafel, hummus, fries, cheese borek, and a salad (came with the entree). The falafel was crispy on the outside and so soft on the inside! The filling just melted in my mouth! I don’t like hummus but everyone on my table said that it tasted just like home🤍 The cheese borek was cheese and mint stuffed in phyllo dough. These were fine, they weren’t the best thing I had that night. I wish it had more cheese. The salad that we had (came with the entree) was also really good. It had cucumbers, tomatoes, onion, and parsley. I thought it needed a little salt, buy overall the appetizers were a hit! As our entree, we got a mixed mashawi (mixed grilled meats) for 2. Although we had 4 at our table, the portions are super large here so we got for 2 instead. Honestly, we couldn’t even finish it because of how big it was! The mashawi came with beef shawarma pieces, shush kebab (filet Mignon), kofta kebab (minced ground beef), and chicken kebab. You can either get it with fries or rice (we got with fries). I wish I was joking when I say, EVERY SINGLE THING ON THE PLATE WAS BETTER THAN THE NEXT! The shish kebab was so tender, the shawarma meat was marinated to perfection, the kofte was so juicy, and the chicken was cooked perfectly with little to no fat. After this experience, Al-Basha has become my favorite place to buy Middle Eastern cuisine!

Saturday night at 7:30pm and there’s a line to come in. First good sign. Walk in and there’s a 30-45 minute wait and the restaurant is full. Food was incredible. We got the meal for 4 and had 5 at our table. It was delicious and we had leftovers. Staff were friendly and restaurant was super clean. 5 Stars!⭐️
