Medallion Steakhouse & Seafood

I wasn't aware the restaurant was in a hotel and it was a little hard to locate. But, my wife and I are glad we found it. The atmosphere was quaint and quiet. Our server, Joseph did his job well. We didn't have to wait all evening for our food. It was brought to us promptly and the presentation was excellent. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. And again, kudos to Joseph for his service. I had the t-bone, mashed potatoes, asparagus and rice w/bean sauce. My wife ordered steak w/onions and french fries. We both had salads. All foods were cooked to perfection. Very tasty. If there's a negative to our visit, it's the portions are large. I'm a big eater and I had to carry home leftovers. To much food. I highly recommend a visit.

The restaurant is located in the hotel lobby. Nice and quiet place. Neat and clean. Our waiter Samuel performed and excellent service. Grilled shrimp salad had too much shredded carrots. Deserts are amazing.

I was running a group event at the Robert Treat Hotel and on check-out day, I told the individuals to come as they pleased to Medallion for breakfast. The place was pretty empty so seating was not an issue. The staff was really friendly and accommodating as I stayed there from 8am - noon, and the individuals in my group were coming and going. Besides the endless cup of hot coffee, I had the oatmeal and fruit plate which was more than enough to eat. The fruit was fresh and delicious and the meal was filling. Others ordered more traditional breakfast foods - eggs, sausage, bacon, hash browns, etc. and everyone was satisfied with the tastes. The prices were a little bit on the high side, but overall it was a really pleasant experience. Again, shout out to the wonderful staff!

So cool whatever we get to our table, which we were fine with, but we slowly noticed that everyone around us just looked unsatisfied. But when I tell you by the end of the night almost every single person in ear shot kept saying their food was watery(the pasta) or the mashed potatoes were just disgusting, you need to trust me here. Not a single person liked their food there. No one even wanted to try and order again, we all just kinda knew everything was going to be the same subpar slop served on a cheap plate with the sad excuse for a candle to light it up. Honestly; keep it in the dark. The worst part tho? When the check came and we got hit with a horrible gratuity tip amount that we were NOT told about. I’m sorry but that needs to be added to the menu so people who don’t have oodles and oodles of money can plan accordingly. I got the salmon and by the way? I’m still picking out bones from my teeth. I wanted to tell those coming in to RUN!!!

Totally over hyped with good location, their food didn’t taste up to expected prices, I had dinner last night wasn’t impressed with cleanliness or freshness of my plate. I wouldn’t recommend it to any of my friends or business associates.

Joseph is the absolutely most perfect person to represent your restaurant and hotel. He went above and beyond to accommodate us EVEN with a short staff. The meal, service , atmosphere, servers and especially Joseph will bring us back again!

The quality of food is subpar compared to price. Our waitress was amazing however upon bringing up our issues to the manager we felt unheard. I ordered the risotto and it came out dry and tasteless, he then proceeded to insult me and ask if I knew what risotto was. Refused to do anything about it stating I’d eaten 3/4 of my dish when in fact it was about 1/4. We weren’t asking for a comped bill but something for the lack of food quality. 0/10 do I recommend ever going back to this place.
