Some diners praised the outstanding food quality, particularly the steaks, sides, and desserts, with notable mentions for the oysters and cheesecake. However, some reviews noted issues with unexpected charges and overall value for the price, particularly regarding specific menu items like the mac and cheese. I visited this restaurant about a week ago to celebrate my birthday after discovering them through social media. Overall, the experience was decent, but there were a few hiccups that affected my impression. I initially ordered a Caesar salad, but my server unexpectedly brought out a meatball that I had considered ordering but ultimately decided against to save room for my main course. When he set it down, he casually mentioned that he brought it out anyway. I assumed it was a complimentary gesture for my special occasion, which seemed sweet—until I saw the bill and realized I was charged full price for it. That definitely put a damper on my celebration. As for the food: • Oysters – 10/10 (Fresh and flavorful, no complaints here.) • Mac & Cheese – 2/10 (Disappointing, lacked flavor or texture.) • Creamed Spinach – 8.5/10 (Really good, well-seasoned.) • Porterhouse with Garlic Butter – 7/10 (Solid, but not mind-blowing.) • Cheesecake – 10/10 (Unique, rich, and absolutely delicious.) The cheesecake was the highlight of the meal and truly felt special for my birthday. My total bill came out to $437, including the meatball I never ordered. While the food had some high points, the unexpected charge left a bad taste in my mouth. I’d consider coming back, but I’d definitely keep a closer eye on what ends up on my bill next time or just come for desert.

Xavier was an amazing server and he took great care of me and my wife at lunch. Service was amazing. Wait time was very short. Food quality was impeccable. Overall, five out of five stars we are very happy and delighted with this experience. We will definitely be coming back and telling our friends and family about this place. And we only want to dine with Xavier.

Exceptional Dining Experience at Strickland Steakhouse I had an amazing dinner at Strickland Steakhouse! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a perfect balance of elegance and comfort. The service was top-notch—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Now, the food—absolutely phenomenal! The steak was cooked to perfection, tender, and full of rich, mouthwatering flavor. Every bite melted in my mouth. The sides and appetizers complemented the meal beautifully, and the dessert was the perfect sweet ending. If you’re looking for a high-quality steakhouse with impeccable service and a memorable dining experience, Strickland Steakhouse is the place to go. Highly recommend!

This past experience was not my first, but was just as amazing as the first time. My boyfriend and I have been here a few times now, and truly love this atmosphere and vibe of the restaurant. It’s become a new favorite and staple for a fancy date night. They have the absolute best Mac and cheese and creamed spinach out of any steak house I went to, and their lemon drop martini is the best as well. I would recommend for a beautiful date night out.

It's been a long time since I've experienced such excellent service at a restaurant. Both the food and service were worth the price. I'll definitely visit again when I have the chance. The steak was unforgettably delicious. I really want to ask the chef how they achieved such a high standard of cooking.

We traveled all the way from Yonkers NY, and let me tell you… IT WAS WORTH IT!! Ya hear me?!?! Hands down THE BEST steak I’m ever had. Food A+, Service top notch, Atmosphere, Ambiance made this place #1 on my list for date night, birthday parties, girls night out, anniversaries etc. They can take my money anytime.

Amazing experience and even better service! My friends and I went for a birthday celebration & the food and drinks were top tier. We all tried different items on the menu: Fried oysters, crab cake, french onion soup, NY Strip, creamed spinach, mac n' cheese, mashed potatoes, chicken pasta (not all pictured). The Lemon Drop with reposado tequila was wonderful!! I can't wait to return.

Came out for dinner for 2 people. We made reservations but still had a wait late in the evening. The restaurant is an old bank converted and done nicely. There are mainly larger tables and they were full so was on the loud side. The waiter was good and prompt to respond to what we wanted. The food came out as expected. The steak was good but fatty so the amount of real meat was not as expected for what’s prime steak should be. Was cooked as requested and came out warm. Overall we had a good dinner but nothing special.
