The food quality varies; while some enjoy perfectly cooked steaks and delicious appetizers, others report disappointing BBQ and overcooked sides. Veterans' recognition is highly valued among patrons, with complimentary meals for service members noted positively. I love Texas Roadhouse. I love BBQ and when I saw it on my choice of options, I grabbed it. A bit later as I was thinking, I knew I screwed up again, as I was at a steak house, and not a BBQ pit! I remembered I have tried the BBQ there a couple times, and have never been impressed. Mission BBQ is the place to go here in Evansville for BBQ. Once you have had the best in town, none of the rest are gonna be exciting. I appreciate very much that Texas Roadhouse honors and recognizes Veterans, and I went yesterday for my complimentary Veterans Day meal, as u will see in this review. I should have got the Steak Meal since I was at a steak house, however, my last experience of getting a proper steak there took 3 times to get it right. So, by the time I finally got my steak cooked properly, everyone else was done eating. Yes, the steak was Awesome, it was just the inconvenience of waiting so long and my friends and family were already done. I love giving 5 Star Reviews, which I will for the atmosphere, the service from Curly Hair Josh, and the other parts of the meal, but the BBQ served yesterday was a 1 star at best, as there were tough and hard parts in it, as well as the bread was hard that came out with the meal. I was going to just leave it, but I put it in the take out box with the rolls so the wife could see it, and try it if she wants to. Thanks Texas Roadhouse for thinking of us Veterans, it is much appreciated. I will be back for steak, rolls and salad, and will request the 5 Star Curly Haired Josh to be our waiter, he was Awesome!!!

Place waa packed, but wait was less than 30 min. The waitress was really good and friendly, checked on us several times. The manager even came from the kitchen to see how the food was. The food was amazing. Blooming Onion was so perfectly cooked and hot, and our steaks were cooked exactly how we ordered them and very tender.

This is the 1st time coming to Evansville, IN and decided to come to their Texas Roadhouse to eat and I must say that I was utterly impressed! My wait time was less than what they originally said (a 1 hour wait was reduced to 45 minutes), My waitress was attentive, the atmosphere was great and my strip steak was cooked perfectly! The people are all very nice and decent, which makes the experience even better! And I really like the fact that TR honors our military members and vets, that is wonderful! If and when I come back to Evansville, I will revisit this restaurant at some point. I would highly recommend this great restaurant to friends and visitors, like me! 🙂🥩

Food was made exactly to my allergy specifications. It was perfect, hot and full of flavor. Our server was very attentive and made sure our drinks were always full.

Yum! Great steak for a great price. Ordered for two: combo appetizer, double pork chops with Mac n cheese and chili, NY strip steak with ribs, corn, and loaded baked potato, followed up with two to-go boxes and a slice of cheesecake. All of this deliciousness for just $81. The waitress was really friendly and the staff just seemed happy to be there. It was a lively atmosphere. We try to eat at Texas Roadhouse in every state when we travel. The food, the friendliness, and the atmosphere are consistent at every Texas Roadhouse. Our first visit was to the Texas location almost 20 years ago. It’s still great in every state.

I didn't know this place was here all this time, but I'm glad I had the chance to explore. Food was pretty good and the service was too. Can't wait to go back try some more of their menu since the prices were so family friendly...

As expected. Their rolls are always great. Our server was on top of things. It was super busy. Great job! The food was decent. My steak was cooked properly and had a good flavor. No sauce is needed. The sides were a little dissappnting- the potato overcooked, and the mixed veggies were super dry. The steak made up for it. Drinks were great, and the group enjoyed the blooming onion and the cheese fries. Overall, it was a nice experience. Thank you.

I ordered a medium well sirloin and my husband ordered a well done cheese burger. We waited for one hour before we received our food, my steak was well done and my husband's burger was barely cooked, it was very red and soggy. We told the waiter and he had an attitude about it, the manager came to the table and didn't believe us about the wait time then proceeded to try and take my husband's entire plate. Did not apologize or offer to take anything off the bill. We had somewhere to be within the hour after finally getting the food so we didn't have time to wait for a different cheeseburger. The manager stated well if you're not going to eat it then I will take it from you, so my husband could sit there with no food while I ate mine. We will not be going back there.
