I'm suggesting you go at a time when it not busy to get best service, so weekdays or around time it opens. The meat was fire flavorful , juicy, well cooked salad bar could have had more options but I enjoyed it .

This was my first time visiting Texas de Brazil and it did not disappoint! I do recommend making reservations, I made mine using Open Table and we were sat very quickly when we arrived. The entire experience was great. From the salad bar, which was great and was way more than a salad bar to the continuous options of meat being offered. Lamb chops were, hands down, my favorite. Second favorite, the filet. Our server was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Not to mention two different managers came by and checked on us and made sure we were being taken care of and thanked us for choosing their restaurant. We had add ons with dinner - a drink each, an after dinner traditional pomegranate shot, and each had dessert - that was absolutely delicious - and dinner was $211. Be prepared, dinner isn’t inexpensive. But well worth it. We will be back. We left stuffed, happy and completely satisfied!

This place never disappoints. The cuts of meat are always juicy and exactly how you want them with plenty of meat types to choose from. You get to choose the temperature, and you get as much or little as you want. Although no one really goes there for the salad bar, it could use an upgrade with a few more choices. The service was all around top notch. From the personal waiters to the waiters that bring you the cuts of meat, they are always on the move and offer excellent service. The drink menu, service and presentation by our waiter was awesome. Kudos to him as he made our evening extra special. 👏

I haven't been since they closed the 1 downtown Chicago. So yes it's been a while! We had reservations for 7p for the night we went. They were pretty busy, as to be expected on a Friday. I'm not certain if they forgot about us because we got there about 10-15 early to check-in and there were several groups who were sat before us that came in after us. They are attached to the mall so to me they are a bit small. Salad had nice options including hot black beans and rice. They bring out mash potatoes, bread, fries, and plantains. The meat kept coming didn't need to ask unless we wanted a particular meat. I usually don't eat my steak with sauce but unfortunately I had to ask for steak sauce this visit. The steak was definitely missing flavor. My fav was the garlic steak.

Very well run a maintained. The salad bar was stocked with delicious choices. The Gauchos kept the meat flowing if you wanted it. Flank steak, garlic steak, beef tenderlion, lamb. Shrimp, and so many other meat selections. The drinks were very good as well. One thing I found odd was that they did have the Brazilian lemonade with the condensed milk. Overall, this is a great option to celebrate, have date night. Or just hand out by yourself.
