Roosters Tavern on the Green (Lakeview Bar and Grill)

A very chill and welcoming atmosphere surrounds you as you walk in and grab a seat. They have a full menu and drinks from the bar. The food was great, the portions were big and the price was good. This is a nice place to relax and have a meal or a drink after hitting some golf balls into the lake or doing the whole course. They also sell golf accessories, rent out golf carts…and will even let you borrow a set of clubs! Good times. I give ‘em a whopping five stars!

I have lived in the Cherry Lane subdivision for almost 8 years. I live off the 17th tee. I don't golf so I was not aware of the gem that we have in our neighborhood. If like a French Dip, then I suggest getting that. We also got the sampler platter. Wow, the food was great. We ate on the patio overlooking the driving range and pond. The atmosphere the service and the food was all worth every penny. We might have to make this a weekly thing.

A hidden gem. You can sit outdoors and watch golfers on the driving range. Or you can practice golf while your family sits and eats. Food was delicious, Don't get the Nachos. They hardly put anything on it. The kids were disappointed. The rest of the food was tasty 😋

Edit July of 2024 : can't really give you an update on how the food was because they couldn't figure out how to open a tab so that we could order food or drinks . Every table we tried to sit at was dirty, and clearly staff doesn't know how to work the systems. Just wanted to have dinner there but I guess we're going to go somewhere else because they can't figure out how to pre-authorize a credit card, we went so far as to even offer to just leave them holding the card until we settled up and they wouldn't even do that. I guess you better be prepared to pay cash when you go here because they can't seem to figure it out. And what has happened in the parking lot? It's just about a free for all now. Cars parked in the cart parking, fire lanes blocked and cars adding spots where there aren't any. Seems like everyone here has just given up. Pretty sad too because we live around two blocks from the place and used to visit here weekly but the last few visits have been so terrible I don't think we're going to even try anymore. 😕 Original review: specials ranging from Asian to prime rib and tacos supplement a decent menu of quality standard pub offerings like wings, burgers, sandwiches and salads - all with a full bar for your dining pleasure. While frequented heavily by the people living in the surrounding neighborhood, this establishment draws patrons from far and wide as well. Keep Lakeview in mind for your next group event, we had dinner for 80 and they performed flawlessly! Thanks for taking such great care of us!

I have lived in the Lake view neighborhood for 16 years and this has always been the place we go for golfing, good meal and occasionally great entertainment on the weekends (live bands and karaoke)! I have come to know the servers through the years and have seen a lot of different people come through. Recently, Shawn and Steven have started bar-tending and have been so pleasant. They are quick to grab drinks, remember what everyone at a table is drinking, quick and always have a smile on their faces. I would recommend coming here whenever your free, especially if you leave near and are looking for some good service and food.

I don't play golf, but it's a good place to enjoy nature, the Lake just incredible, the beers, the wings, your people, are amazing, if you want to have a good food and good day. Its here.
