Customer Review Summary

Steelbach offers an inviting ambiance ideal for special occasions and steak lovers. The steaks are frequently praised for their tenderness and flavor, especially highlighted by unique salts that enhance the experience. Service is noted as exceptionally attentive and knowledgeable, contributing positively to the overall dining experience. However, some reviews reflect disappointment with food quality on specific occasions, mentioning issues like cold dishes and rare pork chops. The atmosphere is generally well-received, though it can be noisy during busy times. While many recommend dishes like fried chicken and short rib, others feel certain items didn't meet expectations compared to other steakhouses. Despite mixed reviews, many patrons express an eagerness to return, citing both the service and the setting as standout features.

If you’re looking for an unforgettable steak experience, Steelbach is the place to be. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, inviting, and full of character—perfect for a special night out or just indulging in a top-tier meal. The highlight of the meal was, without a doubt, the steak. Cooked to perfection, it was incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. What truly set it apart were the two special salts served alongside it, adding an extra layer of depth and richness to every bite. The combination of high-quality beef and these unique salts made for an experience unlike any other.Beyond the outstanding food, the service was equally impressive. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure everything was just right. Whether it was recommending the perfect pairing or ensuring the steak was cooked exactly to preference, their dedication to hospitality was clear. Overall, Steelbach delivers on every level—exceptional food, a fantastic ambiance, and top-notch service. If you’re a steak lover, this spot is an absolute must-visit.

This was our second time and it was worth going again! I recommend going on a day where it isn’t so busy, when we had originally went it was very loud but this second time it was not at all. Alex was our server and she was amazing, super attentive and friendly! Food was delicious, everyone enjoyed it. Will most definitely be back! I recommend the fried chicken, mac and cheese, and the chicken and dumplings!

Did not live up to expectations whatsoever. Went later in the evening and not many people in the restaurant- still took a very long time to get our food and when we finally did, it was luke warm at best. Ordered the bone marrow- do not recommend, the potatoes on top were cold and bland as well as the marrow itself being cold. Friend ordered the pork chop which came out rare. Steak was average and nothing to write home about. Mac and Cheese tasted like they tried too hard but missed the mark. Really disappointed with the quality and taste of the food. Only thing that saved the evening was our waiter- he was amazing, friendly, and helpful. Just go to Ulele.

Great atmosphere but sadly one my friend’s oysters was bad - said the worst he ever had. Mentioned to our bar tender as a courtesy and when the head chef snd manager came out (which we did not ask for) they were more defensive than concerned. We weren’t asking to be comp’ed for anything only to advise from r other customers sake. Sadly based on the reaction after spending $500 (including a $150 bottle of wine we will not be back….which honestly is a shame as it is a cool location and out bartender was very friendly.

Quaint old factory feel with nice ambiance and good food. The mimosas were tasty and we enjoyed the pork belly eggs Benedict on cats head biscuits even though the bisquit was a bit tough. The eggs were perfect and the hollandaise was done well.

Our server was amazing and the food fantastic. If you love steak I would highly recommend. We were sat outside amd there was some sort of event on which made things very loud but I'm sure this isn't the norm. Overall a brilliant experience.

Amazing service and atmosphere. Got the NY Steak, potatoes along with Mac & Cheese, and it was amazing! Our server was outstanding and the atmosphere was buzzing. We happened to be there while a large group was celebrating a bachelor party, and their energy lit up the place. Highly recommended for a first date, dinner with a friend or bringing the family out. Kids friendly I’ll be back when I’m in Tampa next

For the price, I expected better food. It was good, just not AS good as I had hoped, but I realize I’ve been to some phenomenal steakhouses for the same price, so some may think it’s great. We ordered (2) appetizers (4) entrees and (4) table sides. The only thing we were all fighting over was the short rib appetizer and the carpaccio, both are so good if you like pickled things. Everything else, steaks included was just okay. I was excited for the bone marrow potatoes but they arrived to the table almost like they were plated hours before and kept under a lamp. The location is nice and we enjoyed walking off our food afterwards and the options for drinks.
