Norms Ontario location at the Ontario Mills has been open for a year and a half. It is a fairly large restaurant. It is open 24 hours a day. All menu items are available at any time. Breakfast is the busiest time of day. Food quality is good. Servers will try to accommodate your wish ( substitutions). They offer a 20% military discount with ID.

It hurts to have to leave a bad review. It really does. But this is what I received today. The hash browns are burnt. The gravy actually came from on top of the biscuit in a different container. They didn't put any gravy on the chicken fried steak. There was hardly any gravy on the biscuit. This is really bad you guys.

The food was ok. Gumbo needs more meat, I literally got 1 small sasuage chunk and 0 chicken, it was all just onions and okra, it also should include a scoop of white rice, IMHO, my sandwich was as good as a simple homemade sandwich. The salad was ok, but they should come with croutons for that crunch. The kiddo' pancakes were par, eggs were simple and sausage tasted like the refrigerator cheap ones. My wife's Alfredo was big and tasted well cooked. I shan't be returning, I don't think the food was good for the price. I liked the hostess, but the server was not very good. There are too many contrasting good and bads.

This was a great spot for a good meal with a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. The steaks are well-prepared, and their gumbo soup along with grilled veggies and salad add a nice touch to the meal. A comfortable place to enjoy simple, classic food. Open 24 hours. Five stars.

I had to wait to be seated, even though there was plenty of space. When Seated, Had to wait Almost 10 minutes for the waiter to show up for the first time because she was the only one. Ordered country fried steak over easy eggs. When the eggs came back, the egg whites were not cooked all the way very watery. Ask the manager if I can get over easy eggs, she said she would bring out different ones with the whites cooked all the way. The waitress came out and told me that her manager had told her had over easy eggs when the whites are not cooked all the way. Waved Down the manager and asked her what exactly are easy eggs and she says that’s when the whites are not cooked all. She says that medium is when the whites are cooked that’s when the egg yolk is cooked halfway. She said she had been in the restaurant for years and that the eggs I ordered are supposed to be runny. I showed her a description of what eggs were and she told me that my phone was probably wrong, They’re not up-to-date with technology, blah blah blah. This is wrong, People out there, ordering food, paying ridiculous prices, and having to settle with what the restaurant thinks is right. I get worried about Sending my food back, Nervous that something might happen to it.

Had the fish tacos with an order of guacamole on the side and everything came out perfect. Brianna was a great server that kept making sure that our table had everything we needed and was extremely attentive throughout the stay. Will be returning

This location by Ontario Mills just opened. My wife and I decided to try it out on 7/18/23. We came in late in the evening so the place was not packed and we're seated right away. The ambiance is great and has a nice diner atmosphere. The service still needs improvement as the servers may still be in their training phase. One of our order came out wrong and was missing food items. Our server was friendly but rushing most of the time. The food were not as fresh at it should be and may have been waiting in the kitchen for our server to serve them. We will be coming back to give it another try and taste their other food items. Update 7/22/23 Just got back from having lunch at Norm's. I am sorry but the service really needs work. The server should also check the food first before bringing it and serving the food to the table. Twice in a week and the same issues.
